Insight to Ms. Christian

I was born and raised in New York City. Originally I am from Harlem, which is a community in upper Manhattan. When I was younger, I moved around NYC a lot, but I still think of Harlem as my true home. I have a younger sister, that I love, and a dog, that I am allergic to but love nonetheless.

I enjoy reading and listening to music. My favorite genre to read is dystopias, which basically means books about society gone wrong. My favorite type of music is R&B, preferably from the late 90s and early 2000s. One of my favorite artists is Mary J Blige. 

My favorite color is orange. My favorite book series is Divergent (I can't wait for the 3rd book to come out). I root for the Yankees, Giants, and Knicks. I like scary movies, but not the ones with a lot of blood. I never can figure out what my favorite song is. I try to make funny jokes, but most of the time they are corny (but it's ok for you to still laugh at them).
